Or, the Halloween Weekend Post-Party Hangover Extravaganza.

Also known (in Japan) as “The Show Where I [Metaphorically] Drooled All Over My Brand New Boards of Canada Vinyl Like a Huge Music Snob.”

In all seriousness, I really enjoyed this show. I went in without much of a plan, but I discovered some great stuff right there in studio which I’ll definitely be playing more of in the future! The John Vanderslice album, in particular, is really interesting. Let me know what you thought of this week’s playlist, and remember that next week I’ll have Teagan Johnston in studio with me!

As always, the format is Artist – Song (Album).

The Dears – Ticket to Immortality (Gang of Losers)
The Mountain Goats – Best Ever Death Metal Band Out of Denton (All Hail West Texas)
Jordan Klassen – Go to Me (Repentance)
Neko Case – Wild Creatures (The Worse Things Get, The Harder I Fight, The Harder I Fight, The More I Love You)
Jets Overhead – Heading for Nowhere (No Nations)
Boy – Skin (Mutual Friends EP)
Dark Dark Dark – Wild Goose Chase (Bright Bright Bright EP)
Benny Goodman – Why Don’t You Do Right? (Best of Ken Burns Jazz)
Boards of Canada – Peacock Tail (The Campfire Headphase)
